Head Instructor
Karl Pravec is a BJJ Black Belt under legendary Renzo Gracie and John Danaher, who has spent over 23 years studying martial arts, including over 16 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Renzo and John.
Karl is one of Renzo's original U.S. students, and during his training at the Renzo Gracie Academy, he has trained with and studied under some of the highest authorities in the art including Renzo Gracie, John Danaher, Rodrigo Gracie, Matt & Nick Serra, Ricardo Almeida & Shawn Williams.
Karl has competed infrequently and only since Dec. 2006, but has demonstrated the success of his style (focus on submissions) by winning:
- 1st Place : 2006 Tenth Grapplers Quest West (Master LW) - all matches won by submission
- 1st Place : 2007 NAGA World Championship (Advanced Director, Open Weight) - all matches won by submission; lightest competitor in the division
- 2nd Place : 2008 Grapplers Quest U.S. Nationals (Masters, Absolute) - lightest competitor in the division
- 3rd Place : 2008 No-Gi Pan Am Championship (Black Belt, Adult LW)
Karl has a Master's degree from Columbia University and has studied Tae Kwon Do (3rd degree black belt) and eclectic martial arts for over 23 years.

Dave is 5th degree Black Belt Shito-Ryu Karate, and has been practicing martial arts for over 20 years.
Derek Picinich, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt
3 x Grapplers Quest Advanced division winner and 2 x medalist, as well as winning 2nd Place in the prestigious (invitation only) All-Star Pro-Challenge in 2008.
Brian Long, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt
Brian is a 6th dan Black Belt Master Instructor and Chief Instructor of Bob Long's School of Self Defense.
